Run Virtual Windows XP on Windows 7

I get very annoyed when i see this error on Windows 7  “Bla Bla Software has stopped working”, this occurs mostly with the programs i used to run on Windows XP. Now they dont work in Windows 7,  so i started finding a solution for this and see what i found :

Windows 7 has several built-in tools to help with program compatibility and Windows XP programs should be installed directly on Windows 7. Windows XP Mode runs some older productivity programs that might not run on Windows 7. Visit the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to find software that works with Windows 7.

To remove such errors, you just need a Virtual XP running on your Windows 7. Just click here to complete three steps process provided from Microsoft itself :

hey bro.. its nice post.
I hv P4 256mb ram. How can i boost its ram ?? the another slot is not working and not supporting 512 mb ram.
It get hangeg always when i open chrome or firefox? do u hv any solution ??
one thing i heard about some os running from CD only??
which is it??
